As we cross over into 2021, here are the latest and upcoming games that have captured headlines and will have you spending hours immersed in their world!
Cyberpunk 2077
After a decade of development and countless release date postponements, it’s finally here! Cyberpunk 2077, the dystopian futuristic sci-fi role-playing game, has finally been released. Cyberpunk features a future where society is run by corporations. You play as a mercenary hunting for an implant that gives immortality, as you explore the massive open world and make choices that bring you closer to your goal, and also shape the world around you.
Cyberpunk has been lauded for its graphics quality and its world–and of course, with Keanu Reeves playing one of the main characters you meet in the game, what’s not to like? Still, you may be better starting on it in January or February, after major patches have been rolled out to address some of the more serious bugs.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake
The original Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was a masterpiece of its era, and was the trailblazer that inaugurated a new generation of action-adventure games that resulted in the first early open-world games such as Assassin’s Creed. Now, Ubisoft has remade the game with modern graphics, control mapping, better gameplay, but the same great story that made the original so exciting. Hitman 3
If stealth and deadliness are your thing, then Hitman 3 may suit you to a T.
